This is how you conquer your fears!
When I tell people that I moved to the city, without having any family or friends… they say that I am brave.
I believe God has really grown my faith. I have faith that God can do anything. Some of the things that I have done, people look at me like I’m crazy or in awe. I have faith that if I fall down, God will pick me up.
So how did I get like this?
There are two main reasons why I am like this.
1. My relationship with God.
God has shown me over and over again, how much he loves me. God loves YOU as well. With that love, comes protection and care. God has always taking care of me and has provided me with all of my needs and some of my wants. God has giving me the courage to do incredible things such as moving to the city, by myself and with no money. God provided me with a job, a place to stay and a car.
Instead of having fear, allow God to grow your faith! Do whatever God asks you to do and trust that he will provide your needs.
Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) "And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
2. One day I had this thought: If I am 80, 90, or 100 years old, what do I want to look back on my life and see?
Do I want to be afraid of my big dreams?
Do I just want to have a safe, mediocre life, and never take chances?
Do I want to look back on my life and have to say, “I was too afraid to do anything I thought of.”
I did not want to live a life full of empty dreams and regrets.
I don’t want to see God and he shakes his head at me in disappointment.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
Have you asked yourself these questions before?
Do you want to look back on your life when you’re older and smile or be full of regrets?
When you get to heaven, do you want God to say, "Well done!" ?
Asking yourself these questions is a major first step to being fearless.
The second step is grow your relationship with God and learn to trust him.
Ask him to help you be full of faith instead of fear!
You only have one life… Let’s do everything that God have purposed us to do.
